According to U.S. News writer Steven Loveday, the Kia Sorento earned the honors due to its reliability, longevity, stylish interior, and safety score. The SUV is also available in seven trim levels, giving consumers more than enough buying options.
It’s not just U.S. News that gave the Kia Sorento praiseworthy reviews. The automotive site Drive South gave a similar review, giving the new Kia SUV a perfect five out of five rating in the safety department.
Likewise, Consumer Reports also evaluated the 2018 Kia Sorento and gave the SUV props for its ease of handling and intuitive infotainment system. Reviewers also praised its 5,000-lb tow capacity.
That’s not all. The 2018 Kia Sedona received mention of its own from panelists. Judges for U.S. News cited factors like affordability, high safety score, and high-end quality when discussing the minivan. They also specifically praised the V6 engine, which delivers 276 hp, thanks in part to the Sportmatic system that makes shifting far more effortless. This makes the Kia Sedona the epitome of a family vehicle, which is fitting considering school is back in session.
